Eli Vera Has Most Cash on Hand Among Challengers to Alex Villanueva

Vera Ended 2021 with Nearly $117,000 – The Only Challenger with Six-Figures Cash on Hand

LOS ANGELES – Eli Vera’s campaign for Los Angeles County Sheriff campaign ended 2021 with nearly $117,000 cash on hand, making him the only candidate challenging incumbent Sheriff Alex Villanueva with six-figures cash on hand heading into 2022.

“We now know that Eli Vera is the only candidate with the financial resources to defeat Sheriff Alex Villanueva,” said Vera campaign strategist Michael Trujillo. “Other candidates may have burned through money with a flashy social media presence and campaign mailers, but Eli’s focus has always been on defeating Villanueva and bringing experienced and ethical leadership back to the Sheriff’s Department.”
